  We choiced into Del Lago when my son started Kindergarten. Mrs. Root was a perfect balance in a kindergarten teacher, handling separation anxieties to progressing children along to becoming big kids. My son started in fall unable to read, but by summer he decided he wanted to read Harry Potter...and he did finish the first book by midsummer. Now, he is more than half way through First grade and we more happy with our decision than ever. Mrs. Pacek handles everything that comes her way and educates our children like they were her own. We even stopped applying for the coveted Charter School. He has made amazing friends. We, as parents, have also made great friends in our community. I know our kids are in good hands because one time my son bumped his head in my presence after school, the ladies in the office and nurse took amazing care and followed up several times. On one last note, I have to give honorable mention to the Principle, Mrs. Televik. She has done great things for our children, the school and community. I love walking my son into school on Friday mornings and being able to stay for the weekly assembly which, weather permitting, occurs outside in center blacktop. Thank you.
